On November 3, the 8th SNEC (2023) International Energy Storage Technology, Equipment, and Application Conference & Exhibition successfully concluded at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. Under the theme "Integrated Solar-Storage, Leading the Future," NIO Power made a grand appearance at Booth E5-350, showcasing its full-scenario energy storage solutions and officially launching the Nimbus Series—an intelligent solar-storage-charge-inspection charging station.
Against the backdrop of China’s dual-carbon strategic goals, the number of new energy vehicles (NEVs) in the country has exceeded 18 million, with a domestic retail penetration rate of 36.9% in September. However, the rapid expansion of the NEV industry has exposed the limitations of existing power and charging infrastructure, which cannot sustainably support its future growth.
To address these challenges, NIO Power has innovatively introduced the Nimbus 200 Mobile Charging Station, enabling the rapid deployment of charging stations—from zero to fully operational in no time. This solution effectively tackles issues such as slow charging, scarcity of charging points, uneven distribution, and low utilization rates, while also providing a breakthrough for industry bottlenecks like high construction costs and lengthy implementation cycles.

The Nimbus 200 integrates one 206kWh energy storage cabinet with four 250A/120kW DC fast-charging piles in a pre-installed configuration, allowing the entire station to be flexibly and efficiently transported and installed.

The "1 Storage + 4 Chargers" model delivers a comprehensive charging solution—from power input to charging output and energy management. The station requires only 100kW of low-power demand, eliminating the need for grid capacity upgrades. With just simple power connection steps, the Nimbus 200 can be operational in as little as one hour, enabling ultra-fast deployment of charging stations.
Thanks to its high flexibility and rapid deployment, the Nimbus 200 is ideal for rural areas, highways, scenic spots, and other locations with limited grid capacity, as well as emergency charging scenarios during peak travel seasons in NEV-dense regions.
Moving forward, NIO Power will continue to leverage its technological R&D strengths to set industry benchmarks in the solar-storage-charge-inspection sector, contributing to the development of urban green energy ecosystems and accelerating the arrival of the ultra-fast charging era.
